Tira SC4

The 2nd of the 10 Free Request's is done and finished! . Requested by , it is Tira from the Soul Calibur series in her SCIV form!

Finished this in 8 hours and I can without a doubt say that this was the hardest sprite I've done and it shows. Forgot how her stance was but luckily I found a piece of SCIII art that had it so the stance is pretty correct with few differences here and there. Her costume was a little difficult to put into sprite form since it had lots of details here and there and I couldn't translate some of it since sprites are kinda small. Most of the details were added later like the stripes, the feathers and her gauntlet design.

And wow......coloring her was really hard. Yeah I say that with about 60% of my sprites but she really was. I didn't think it would be but while going through, I found it tougher than usual since I am still a newb at shadow/lighting things. You can really tell I had trouble with the circular blade....... I actually added that after I finished coloring Tira herself.

Anyway, I'm still pretty happy on how it turned out. But I'll just remember that this was the sprite that kicked my ass......lol.
