Scizor from the Pokemon series. Always loved his design(and Scyther's) so I tried a sprite of him. Dunno but if I make another Pokemon sprite in the future, I'd like to try a Lugia.

3 hours.

Did this awhile ago and it turned pretty a'ite. Wanted a more crazier pose but ehhh. It was quicker to finish than I expected....well of course since he's not really complicated to draw. I'm sure the shiny parts are horrible but I tried.....shiny metals aren't my best things to do. If you have a suggestion on how to sprite better shiny parts, please do tell!

UPDATE: I made him much brighter overall and the shiny parts more lighter and it is definitely better looking now! Much thanks guys!

This looks really good. But concerning about the shiny part you mentioned, I think that you should have used a much brighter color than the one you are using right now. Like a very light red, almost white, or just use white.

Haha, really? Wow. But yeah, I like the older Pokemon designs....looks better than all the newer kinds imo. Haven't played the games since Sapphire actually.

Good idea man. The light red is just too dark now that you mention it....guess I didn't notice since I'be been staring at the monitor too long lol. I'll update him tomorrow when I work on some other sprites.

Heyyy, you're uploading sprites again! Awesome! I'll comment on the rest when I get back, but for now... If you have trouble with shiny metallic effects, I wouldn't mind redlining this for you.

Only, I'd probably use a different color, to make it stand out a bit more. XD

Awesome work but i dont think this is the shade of colour of Scizor?.... (I aint too sure really) I thought his colour was a bit lighter then that.

Haha yeah....been out of it for awhile lol.

And yeah, I just updated the sprite with a brighter color scheme now and made the shiny part brighter. Looks much better now imo.

Haha they should. Reminds me that there's actually quite alot of Pokemon that would be awesome in a fighting game...seriously lol.
