Juri Han from Super Street Fighter IV! She's the first Korean and Tae Kwon Do character in the series..........FINALLY CAPCOM, WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG! Thought she looked weird at first(doesn't look SF like, kinda JoJo-ish) but she grew on me really quick as more screens and what not came up. Been busy with lots of tiring work these days but it means nothing compared to my passion for Street Fighter!!
6 or 7 hours give or take. EDIT: Animation was 15 hours. 6 frames.
This is actually the funnest sprite I've EVER done....and I have no idea why! Had to screen capture some parts of an video interview with Ono earlier to see her stance but then a screen from Famitsu came up!! It was at an angle but ehh, angles are no problem if you know perspectives good enough. Started around 10 p.m. yesterday and stopped around 2 a.m to go sleep......I didn't sleep at all so I got up at 5 to finish it lol. I did the lineart quickly in about 30-45 mins and the rest was coloring it. Coloring wasn't hard at all on her though and I breezed through it. Overall, I'm really happy on how it turned out....very clean.
EDIT: Added animation. It's not from her real stance animation btw...I just made it up for her. I finished this a day after I finished the regular sprite but after I found out I had no internet, I tweaked it for hours and hours.
EDIT #2 Feb 2010: Kinda old recolor but I made the purple more darker like her artwork. Completely redrew her left foot(the one in the air). Changed some colors on her pants.
do you mind if I used this sprite for a mini MK vs SF comic I am working on?
